Port Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) is currently seeking a dynamic engineering professional to join our team! We are looking for an exceptionally talented, growth-oriented leader, with a special combination of multidisciplinary engineering and technical experience, along with a passion for exemplary customer service. The PCCA’s Engineering team is responsible for the successful completion and delivery of projects, including design of PCCA facilities and infrastructure, construction program management, and development of the PCCA’s capital improvement program. This particular position will assist the Director of Engineering in leading and executing the program while ensuring timely, quality delivery of projects. This position covers a broad range of functions including providing engineering technical support, design leadership, construction management, and oversight for expansion and improvement of infrastructure at one of the nation's largest ports, while providing support to the Director of Engineering Services. CANDIDATE PROFILE The preferred candidate for this position should have a history of effective partnerships, creative problem-solving and consensus building, as well as the ability to fit well within an energetic and dedicated team, and should be organized, thorough, and self-disciplined with a focus on maintaining optimal integrity in support of the PCCA. The preferred candidate should have the ability to work well within a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a multitude of projects and changing priorities; they should also possess high-level organizational and planning skills and the ability to set priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.
