Estimator/Project Engineer for Commercial Glazing Company

Compensation: BOE

Great Opportunity for the right person to join our locally owned and operated commercial glazing company on Oahu.  We are seeking an individual that is motivated, organized, attentive to detail, dependable and able to work with minimum supervision in a small business setting.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

Review plans, specifications of proposed projects/jobs

Provide quantity takeoffs from drawings and specification along with material and labor cost

Formulate, submit and track bid proposals

Prepare job budget to include labor, materials and equipment, etc. in accordance with the project schedule

Prepare schedule of values and manage project budget

Prepare and manage submittals from inception to closeout that which includes shop drawings and engineering via vendors

Establish and manage project budget timetable/schedule

Initiate and track RFI’s, Change Orders

Maintain digital and paper job files in accordance with company standards

Attend and participate in project meetings
