Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this position plays a role in the oversight of all phases of design and construction (through close out) of a varied portfolio of facilities-related projects, typically those with a budget ranging from $10,000 to $500,000. Projects include large and complex renovations, as well as utility infrastructure, maintenance projects, and minor renovations. Manages the project team by driving the growth and development of project team members while developing critical relationships with internal and external clients. This person will be a team leader responsible for numerous construction management related tasks including, project execution, financial management, and delivering critical projects.
Provide management direction and oversight for all phases of project planning and delivery to achieve sustainable projects delivered on schedule, within budget, high-quality, cost-effective, and appropriate to client program needs
Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification
Identifies project delivery resources; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients and leadership. Provide the required level of financial and quality control throughout project lifecycle and report, on a regular basis, status (budget, schedule, scope) of projects
Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. 8 years of relevant experience required
