Compensation: $6479 - $8506 per month dependent upon qualifications (DOQ), plus benefits
There is one opening with the Yakima County Road Department. This position is responsible for managing the Division’s work by developing and implementing strategies; prioritizing, assigning and monitoring work, providing professional level advice and direction, and evaluating work performance of employees.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying and six years of progressively responsible Civil Engineering and/or Land Surveying experience in the areas of construction or construction management, including three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
Possession of a valid Washington State driver’s license is required at time of appointment. Proof of insurance may be requested.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
