Responsible for assisting in planning, design, and construction work to transform the physical facilities of the College. Provide comprehensive review and work on all architectural and consultants plans for assessment of completion, and serve as a liaison with architects, engineers, and contractors in coordination of their respective work. Assist in space planning, short-term and long-term campus master-planning, development of campus building standards documentation, and construction project management including site observations for correctness and quality of work. Serve as the department's AutoCAD / BIM Modeling resource. Responsible for managing the planning, programming, and development of capital improvement projects, monitoring selective construction, contract documents, closeouts, and pre-bid conferences.
Bachelor degree in architecture, architectural engineering, mechanical or civil engineering, construction management, or other related field.
Two years of full-time professional level experience in architecture, architectural engineering, mechanical or civil engineering, property management, or construction administration with on-site field observation of construction projects costing more than 3 million dollars.
Two years experience of A/E Team during project programming and development, and/or on-site construction project observation
Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
