We are seeking an Assistant to the Executive Director who will provide ongoing leadership for the daily functions of the Facilities Department.

This is a full-time, administrative position.

Examples of Duties

1. Supervise the department's clerical staff
2. Manage the department's computerized work order system
3. Manage the department's distribution of support staff overtime and shift scheduling
4. Establish and maintain friendly and helpful relationships with the various departments and agencies that interact with the Facilities Department and assist as needed in large event planning
5. Help coordinate and relate back to the Executive Director that activities of the various internal department managers
6. Assist in tracking the use and procurement of contract service vendors
7. Assist in the scheduling and tracking of capital and chapter 12 budget renovation projects
8. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree required, with at least five years experience within the Facilities Management or Construction Management or Technical Project Management field
2. Must have articulate and effective communication skills and interpersonal relations
3. Must have the ability to work independently and provide follow-up when needed
4. Knowledge of computerized work order systems (School Dude preferred) and Microsoft Office programs

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
