SUMMARY: Accounting managers oversee the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.

Job Requirements:

• BBA Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent years field experience with a High School diploma and completion of applicable accounting/finance courses.

• Maintain timely and accurate general ledger (posting entries, recording accruals, etc.)
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including knowledge of monthly WIP reports
• Review daily bank balances and make all cash management entries
• Prepare and record fixed assets entries.  Additions, deletions, depreciation expense, gain or loss on sale of assets
• Prepare year end audit schedules
• Manage the in-house payroll process
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll reporting
• Understanding and practical application of sales tax regulations for contractors.
• Preparation of quarterly sales tax returns
• Manage project contract administration and monthly contract billing. Manage all subcontractor contract administration including certified payroll, payments and lien releases
• Close multiple entities monthly
• Apply monthly journal entries
• Produce monthly Balance and Income Statements in a timely matter
• Assist the Corporate Risk Manager in the administration of a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP)
