Assist the Sr. Project Manager with managing renovation projects throughout 350 buildings on the Charles River Campus.
Meet with University personnel to develop scope of work.
Generate cost estimate/budget for each project.
Follow up with clients through the project approval process.
Generate project documents as required for the approved projects.
Conduct walk-throughs with contractors. Receive bids and award projects.
Oversee all aspects of construction and generate punch lists.
Manage project to completion and is responsible for all paperwork required to pay the contractors.
B.A./B.S. in engineering, construction management, architecture, or accounting/finance.
Three to five years experience in either the MEP design or construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and proven experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Knowledge of best practices in project management/execution, MEP design and construction, and project scheduling.
Solid financial skills including: construction project accounting and cost and managerial controls required on both large and small projects.
Candidate should have an appreciation of the institutional environment and culture.
