The County is looking for an estimator to lead the development of a new project proposal process for our five-year capital plan as well as ongoing cost estimating for technically advanced projects related to facilities and property management.
As our new Facilities Project Estimator, you will serve as a subject matter expert in detailed cost estimating with conceptual project planning, modifications of ongoing projects, and newly proposed projects within the capital planning process. You will support the development and maintenance of the county’s five-year capital improvement plan by managing building assessments, managing incoming requests, developing the conceptual scope, developing a conceptual estimate, and ensuring that budget and scope are in alignment. You will support the County with the integration and development of project costing software requirements. You will also support the Facilities and Property Management Division with cost estimating and maintain a light project load in support of the Capital Improvement Program.
