Preliminary estimates must be suitable to support the University's decision-making regarding project affordability during pre-construction. Oversee and manage external estimating consultants for project estimating services. Develop and maintain SF benchmarks to test the order of magnitude of proposed projects. Work with Project Managers to establish the appropriate project budgets during pre-construction. Work with design teams to define project scope, risk, cost, and schedule impacts on their design
