Under direction of Planning Services Director, the person will be responsible for professional, technical, managerial, and administrative work of the Code Enforcement Department. At least 5 years in managing building and code enforcement functions. Have or be eligible to obtain building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical certifications designated by the State of Tennessee. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in plan reviews.  Prefer experience with Blueprints and EnerGov software. Prefer Certification as a Certified Building Official from the ICC. Prefer degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, Business Administration.
