Proven experience as a Project Designer. Senior Project Designers analyze, plan, design, document, and manage interior non-structural/non-seismic construction and alteration projects in compliance with applicable building design and construction, fire, life-safety, and energy codes, standards, regulations, and guidelines for the purpose of obtaining a building permit, as allowed by law.

Principle Responsibilities
Formulate preliminary space plans and sketches that integrate the client's needs.
Confirm preliminary space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, and aesthetically appropriate, and meet all public health, safety, and welfare requirements.
Coordinate and collaborate with other allied design professionals who may be retained to provide consulting services.
Lead the interior design effort of special or more complex projects.
Review survey drawings
Provide reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion
Have a working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an CIDA accredited institution in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.) required, OR Bachelor's degree in Other Major than above plus Interior Design Certification, Degree or Diploma.
Three+ years experience in a corporate real estate environment.
Proficiency in REVIT is required. Knowledge of Enscape is preferred.
Understanding of IBC and ADA requirements.
Ability to read and review design documents
Excellent internal and external customer services skills
Effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
Project Goals. Understand, document, and confirm the client's and stakeholders' goals and objectives, including design outcomes, space needs, project budget, and needs for specific or measurable outcomes.
Existing Conditions: Evaluate, assess, and document existing conditions of interior environments from a provided site survey..
Develop drawing documents for the purposes of communicating design intent. Documentation by phases may include conceptual test fits, schematic, or design development documents. Drawings may consist of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, interior elevations, and specification plans.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Smartsheet is preferred.
