PROJECT MANAGER, Facilities-Operations, to beresponsible for managing small- to mid-size projects from inception to closeout for the Repair and Maintenance group, meeting budgets and deliverable schedules. Will also be responsible for planning and executing capital renewal--major repair orders (MRO)--and for performing related duties as assigned. Typical project scope ranges from $10,000 to $1,000,000.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering; a minimum of five years of related experience, including experience managing multiple small- to mid-size and moderately complex design and construction projects with a typical project scope of $10,000 to $1,000,000; experience organizing and analyzing data utilizing planning- and design-related software packages and desktop PC computer applications; ability to resolve and/or recognize when to escalate issues, listen to other opinions, and incorporate those ideas into the work plan; experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems; knowledge and understanding of relevant Massachusetts' building codes/regulations; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; and the ability to give presentations, prepare written business reports, and negotiate and form alliances.
