The Facilities Operations Manager manages and oversees building operations, maintenance, repair, inspection, alteration, and janitorial services of Airport owned facilities. Responsible for the preparation of plans and quality of workmanship on all buildings and building equipment repairs. May also oversee construction projects. Requires high school graduation or GED . An associate degree or higher in engineering, electronics, drafting, or construction management is highly preferred. Experience as a Master Electrician or in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is preferred. Requires five years of progressively responsible experience managing building maintenance operations and directing the work of others; experience managing building operations in winter weather and emergencies; three years managing others as direct reports, including hiring, coaching, developing, disciplining, rewarding and terminating. Must have current driver's license and pass 10 year background check. Requires current unrestricted MT DLI Low Pressure Boilers Operation license or the ability to obtain within one year of employment.
