The Connected Communities (CC) Program Director oversees the implementation, maintenance and validation of interventions that meet energy management outcomes for a Department of Energy project. Connected Communities is a demonstration project with goals of coordinating energy efficiency and power demand management across buildings to meet flexibility needs for increased renewable energy sources in the power grid. The CC Program Director is a unique position at the interface of university operations and sustainable energy research.
